Michigan Winter Wedding

Chelius reached out to me just one month before her February wedding because she realized she needed a coordinator to help bring her wedding day together. So I made my way up to "The Thumb" for her big day.

I showed up for the rehearsal only to realize, the church had no center aisle and extremely narrow hallways and stairs. This wasn't going to work so well for our bride who had chosen a gorgeous 5 foot hoop skirt. If you know anything about old Methodist churches, you know they can be more like mazes than anything else. Long story short, we came up with the perfect "operation: processional" for this unique situation.

After the ceremony, the couple made their way outside for a photo op with their sweet dog. Next stop: party bus!

Chelius and Andrew had so many people that showed up to support their marriage. And ALL these people were ready to hit the dance floor. After the longest (but funniest) father of the bride speech and a delicious dinner spread, topped off with homemade pudding shots, Chelius and Andrew kicked off the dancing and everyone else followed.

Massive snowflakes and a magical wedding day for Chelius and Andrew
Talk about a ball gown!
This church had such charm and character. But no center aisle! We made it work.
All groomsmen are heroes in my book.
Father-Daughter first looks are such a special pause.
The sanctuary was a a little tight for 8 on each side, so we stacked the wedding party!
My handsome assistant (Josh) and the matron of honor keep the dress out of the snow.
This church was just the right size for the ceremony.
Move over Elsa, I think we all know Chelius is the real queen here.
Chelius and Andrew just had to make sure all their loved ones were there for the big day.
Who else thinks Chelius nailed the winter wedding decor?
I am a huge fan of Enjoy the View's dancing shots. So fun!
Catching a little girl time.
A father daughter dance like no other.
Congrats you two. You deserve all the happiness in the world.
